I'd like to bat another full 50 overs - तेंदुलकर

MS Dhoni is happy as Sachin Tendulkar reaches 200 in the last over, 2nd ODI, Gwalior, February 24, 2010
Sachin Tendulkar: "Since I was timing the ball well, I could be more aggressive and put pressure on the bowlers"© Associated Press
Sachin Tendulkar, who broke the record for the highest individual ODI score, overtaking Saeed Anwar and Charles Coventry on his way to the format's first double-hundred, has said his ability to bat the entire 50 overs was a testament to his fitness after having played the game for more than 20 years.
"It feels good that I lasted for 50 overs, a good test of my fitness. I'd like to bat another 50 overs at some stage and see that the fitness level doesn't drop," Tendulkar said after his effort helped India take a unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. "The ball was coming onto the bat and I was striking the ball well. So when everything falls into its place, it feels nice. It was one of the innings where I felt I was moving well. Since I was timing the ball well, I could be more aggressive and put pressure on the bowlers."
Tendulkar, while dedicating his feat to the people of India, credited coach Gary Kirsten for the team's success in both forms of the game after the debacle in the World Cup in the Caribbean. "I've enjoyed various challenges; after the 2007 World Cup things have looked different and I'm enjoying the game," he said. "The credit also goes to Gary [Kirsten], he has really held the team beautifully. It's about togetherness and playing for each other. You see during the practice sessions that Gary himself trains as hard as anyone else, or probably harder than anyone else as he's the one giving us practice all the time."
Tendulkar said he sensed an opportunity to break the record and reach a double-century when he had gone past 175 in the 42nd over. The record eventually came in the 46th over, and the 200 in the 50th. "When I was near 175-180, I thought I could get a 200 as there were quite a few overs left," he said. He added that he would prefer his achievement to be upstaged by an Indian. "I don't play for records, I play for enjoyment and play with lots of passion. That's how cricket started. I didn't start playing cricket to break all the records; it's happened along the way. The dream was to play for India and do my best.
"I don't think any record is unbreakable. Records are made to be broken. I hope that if this record is broken, it's done by an Indian."

How does Sachin Tendulkar do it?

How does Sachin Tendulkar do it?

How does Sachin Tendulkar do it?

How does Sachin Tendulkar do it? How does a 36-year-old cricketer stay at the top of the game for 20 years? How does he retain this incredible hunger for achievement after scoring more than 30,000 runs in the long (Test) and shorter (50 over) versions of the game?
Cricket fans are asking these questions again after Tendulkar created history by firing the first double century in one-day internationals.
It was an unbelievable innings of brutal finesse - he smacked 25 fours and three sixes and batted just 147 balls to score 200. He simply toyed with South Africa's formidable bowlers.
"Take a bow master!", "You little champion!", gasped the commentators as Tendulkar walked back to the pavilion and the crowds went delirious.
"If anybody is deserving of this feat, it is Tendulkar and nobody else," gushed another commentator, and then ran out of words.
You are indeed lost for words trying to explain the genius, elegance and sheer power of one of the greatest cricketers ever born, but more so after his breathtaking display at Gwalior on Wednesday.
I think the best tribute to Tendulkar's genius came from former cricketer and present day guru of cricket writing Peter Roebuck.
"Viv Richards could terrorise an attack with pitiless brutality, Lara could dissect bowlers with surgical and magical strokes, Tendulkar can take an attack apart with towering simplicity. From the start he had an uncanny way of executing his strokes perfectly. Tendulkar was born to bat," he once wrote.
Tendulkar is India's biggest icon and proudest possession - I remember the rising crescendo of noise when he walked up to receive an award in a stadium filled to the brim in Mumbai two years ago. There were other cricket and Bollywood stars being feted that evening. Nobody could match the reception that Tendulkar got.
If you want to know how difficult it has been for Tendulkar to become the greatest cricketer India has ever had, listen to Roebuck again:
"The runs, the majesty, the thrills, do not capture his achievement. Reflect upon his circumstances and then marvel at his feat. Here is a man obliged to put on disguises so that he can move around the streets, a fellow able to drive his cars only in the dead of night for fear of creating a commotion, a father forced to take his family to Iceland on holiday, a person whose entire adult life has been lived in the eye of a storm."
It has been an incredible journey for this magician of cricket. And he is still pulling off new tricks and hitting fresh milestones. How does he do it?

Connect to a database by using a custom connection string

A connection string provides the information that an application or provider requires to communicate with a data source. A connection string usually supplies the location of the database server, the particular database to use, and the authentication information. With a custom connection string, you can specify the connection string that is used to connect to the database.
  1. If the Data Source Library task pane is not visible, on the Task Panes menu, click Data Source Library.
  2. In the Data Source Library task pane, click Connect to a database.
     NOTE   If the Database Connections heading is collapsed, click the plus sign (+) to expand it.
  3. In the Data Source Properties dialog box, on the Source tab, click Configure Database Connection.
  4. In the Configure Database Connection dialog box, select the Use Custom connection string check box, and then click Edit.
  5. In the Edit Connection String dialog box, in the Provider Name list, click the data provider that you want to use.
  6. In the Connection String text box, type your connection string.
    An example of an OLE DB connection string:
    Provider=myProvider;Data Source=myPath;Initial Catalog=catalogName;
    User Id=username;Password=password;
    An example of an ODBC connection string:
    Driver={myProvider};Server=myPath;Database=myDatabase;
    Uid=username;Pwd=password;
    An example of an Oracle connection string:
    Data Source=myDatabase;User Id=username;
    Password=password;Integrated Security=no;
  7. Click Next.
  8. In the Database list, click the database that you want to use as a data source, and then do one of the following:
    • Click Select a table or view, click the table or saved view that you want from the list, and then click Finish.
      By using this option, you create a default connection to the table or view. However, after you click Finish, you can specify a query by clicking Fields,Filter, and Sort in the Data Source Properties dialog box. For more information, see the article Create a data source query.
    • Click Specify custom Select, Update, Insert, and Delete commands using SQL or stored procedures, and then click Finish.
       NOTE   This option is available only if your administrator has turned on theEnable Update Query Support option.
      By using this option, you can create or edit custom SQL commands. When you click Finish, the Edit Custom SQL Commands dialog box opens. In this dialog box, you can create commands and add parameters. After you create a custom SQL command, you can edit the query by clicking Edit Custom Query in the Data Source Properties dialog box. For more information, seeCreate custom SQL commands later in this article.
  9. In the Data Source Properties dialog box, click the General tab, type a name for the data source, and then click OK.
    The new database connection now appears in the Data Source Library.
  NOTES
